The Common Header is a standardized, top-of-page section on all Drupal-hosted Syracuse University websites. It provides users with a stable and predictable set of key navigation and identity elements across the entire Syracuse University digital ecosystem.
Common Header
- Syracuse.edu: Acts as a universal navigation element that brings you to the flagship site. This element can't be changed.
- Visit: Acts as a universal navigation element, bringing you to the central campus tour hub on Syracuse.edu. This page allows users to seamlessly explore and select from all available tour options, including scheduling an on-campus tour or viewing virtual and student-led options. This element can't be changed.
- Apply: This call to action goes to school and college application pages. If a school or college does not have an apply page, this will default to the apply page on Syracuse.edu. To change the URL in your settings to your school or college, navigate to Appearance > Settings > Syracuse Default and scroll down to the bottom of the page under Blue Bar Header Settings, where you will be able to adjust your URL.
- Give: This cta goes to a school, college or unit giving page. If a school, college or unit does not have a giving page, it will default to the Make a Gift page on Syracuse.edu. To change the URL in your settings to your school, college or unit, navigate to Appearance > Settings > Syracuse Default and scroll down to the bottom of the page under Blue Bar Header Settings, where you will be able to adjust your URL.
